Working principle of rapid impact compaction

Rapid impact compaction machines use hydraulic cylinders to raise the ram to a certain height and then release it. The plunger is accelerated and lowered under the combined action of gravity and hydraulic pressure. Falling behind, hit the tamping plate with the mat, apply static pressure to the ground, and then ram the ground through the tamping plate.

Since the action of the rapid impact compaction equipment on the ground is realized by the compacted plate with cushion and static pressure on the ground, compared with the traditional compaction technology, its peak force is small, the action time is long, the function is soft, and it is not easy to cut and fill Streamlined, dust and splash resistant. Compared with traditional surface rolling technology, its permeability is strong and uniform, it is not easy to form surface hardening in foundation treatment, and it can obtain more uniform density in a larger depth range. As a general-purpose rapid impact compaction machine, in order to compact the structure directly without the need for a compaction plate, the action mechanism of the ground has a greater compaction strength than traditional compaction techniques (dynamic compaction, etc.), and can also be used for crushing ground and other structures.

1. The compacted road section should be leveled before the compactor according to the construction preparations.

2. After the construction is completed, after passing the test according to the compaction standard required by the design, use a rapid impact compaction contractors to release the compaction points on the roadbed, mark and number them with white ash, and then measure the initial elevation of each point according to the number. The location of the measurement and payout can be seen by hydraulic tamping to align the hammer point with the point.

3. The compaction capacity of the rapid impact compaction is divided into three levels: strong, medium and weak. Adjust the compaction to a strong level, compact with 3 hammers, measure the settlement of the compaction point and record.

4. Take every 3 strong tooth hammers as a group, accumulate and record the settlement amount of every 3 hammers. Before the 6th, 9th, and 12th hammers were compacted by rapid impact, the settlement of every 3 hammers was accumulated and recorded, and the relative compaction difference between the last 3 hammers and the first 3 hammers did not exceed 10m.

5. After a single compaction point meets the requirements, the hydraulic cylinder moves the machine to the next point, three points left, middle, and right each time, and three points in the next row.

6. Test to determine the minimum distance of the operating point of the rapid impact compaction. During dynamic compaction, the minimum distance between operating points should not be less than 50cm. When the filling thickness at the top of the horizontal structure is not less than 2m, compaction can be carried out.
