At the beginning of this century, researcher Yang Shiji of the Academy of highway Sciences of the Ministry of transport took the lead in putting forward the demand and suggestions of this kind of compaction machine. The requirement is that the compaction effect is not less than 25KJ impact roller, which can reinforce the parts that are inconvenient for the construction of impact roller and reach the standard of layered compaction, and do not damage the original soil structure and adjacent structures. Cao Bin was entrusted to conceive and Design China's impact rammer. At the beginning of 2003, China's first Rapid Impact Compaction was born in Tai'an, Shandong Province. The hammer mass of the first prototype is 2.5t, and the tamping potential energy is 30kj. 5T wheel loader is used as the bearing equipment. Tested by Xi'an road construction machinery testing center of the Ministry of transport, and combined with highways under construction in Gansu, Anhui, Guangdong and other provinces, the application effect test and research of Rapid Impact Compaction were carried out. In January 2004, the project of "Rapid Impact Compaction and its application research" passed the technical appraisal organized by Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission, and the conclusion was first created in China and reached the international advanced level.
The English name of the Rapid Impact Compaction is rapid hydraulic compactor (r.h.c). High speed refers to the high strike frequency, and the strike frequency when the hammer body is raised to the height reaches the design specified value. The product design stage is set to not less than 12 blows /min, and now it has risen to 30 blows /min, which is the name and definition of the product by the patentee (Cao Bin).
