Construction scheme of Rapid Impact Compaction

1. The compaction road shall be leveled in front of the compactor according to the construction preparation works.

2. After the completion of construction, the Rapid Impact Compaction will release the compaction points on the standard subgrade according to the compaction specification required by the design, mark and number them with lime, and then measure the original elevation of each point according to the number. The position of construction setting out can be seen by hydraulic compaction, so that the hammer point is aligned with the point.

3. According to the compaction capacity, the hydraulic ram is divided into three levels: strong, medium and weak. Adjust the compaction to the strong level, compact the 3 hammer, measure the subsidence of the compaction point and record it.

4. Take every three hammers as a group, accumulate and record the settlement of every three hammers. Until the 6th, 9th and 12th hammers are compacted with high-speed compactor, the settlement of every 3 hammers is accumulated and recorded, and the relative compaction difference between the final 3 hammers and the first 3 hammers is not more than 10 meters.

5. After the single compaction point meets the requirements, the hydraulic ram mobile equipment will carry out the next point, three points left, middle and right each time, and three points in the next row.

6. The hydraulic test determines the minimum distance between the operation points of the Rapid Impact Compactor. During strong compaction, the minimum distance between operation points shall not be less than 50cm. When the filling thickness of the top of the horizontal structure is not less than 2m, compaction can be carried out.
